The Cleveland Food Bank is currently looking for volunteers:
We’re excited to announce that we’ve finalized our February 2021 volunteer schedule as well, and it is now available for sign up online!

We still plan to host regular Repack shifts throughout the week with the following schedule:
Monday – 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 5-8pm
Tuesday – 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 5-8pm
Wednesday – 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 5-8pm
Thursday – 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 5-8pm
Friday – 9am-12pm, 1-4pm

Like in January, volunteers will need to be 14 or older in order to participate in our Repack projects, and volunteers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering. One major change for the month is that do not currently plan to recruit volunteers for Kitchen projects in February.

This week, we will be receiving a new piece of equipment (a flow wrapper!) that will now be an integral part of our Kitchen’s production process. Throughout the month of February, the Kitchen team plans to test out the processes that they have in place with the support of Ohio National Guard soldiers and staff to ensure that they are comfortable with the process and have a better understanding of the staffing and volunteer needs in order to complete daily production. We may add a couple of February Kitchen shifts once we are more comfortable with the equipment, and we hope to make this new opportunity regularly available to volunteers in March!

On each Thursday in February, we are also recruiting volunteers for our Emergency Food Box Distributions with a new shift time of 11:00am – 4:00pm!

For our distribution shifts, volunteers will need to be 16 or older in order to participate. All of our shifts are open now! You can view and sign up for all available opportunities by following this link:
