Background Check Information
The Wickliffe City School District welcomes parents and community members who wish to serve as volunteers in our schools, activities, and programs. Volunteers are utilized on an as-needed basis and approval as a volunteer does not guarantee that the need or opportunity to serve will be available.
Volunteers for Wickliffe City School District need to have a background check in order to volunteer in our schools. After the initial clear background check is received, volunteers will need to obtain new fingerprints in compliance with BOE and state policy. Volunteers accompanying students on overnight trips must have a new background check completed or have a current background check that is not more than one year old.

to schedule an appointment for a fingerprinting session. There is no cost for background checks associated with District volunteers. All volunteers are subject to approval by the Board of Education.
