Superintendent's Update - Week of June 29th

Wickliffe Schools Families,

Updates for the week of June 29, 2020:

1. The Family Resource Center is distributing meals, food, and supplies on Tuesday, June 30 and Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
2. Signature Health is conducting physicals for students on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from noon – 6:00 p.m. Please contact the athletic office to schedule your appointment. The physicals are at no cost to Wickliffe students.
3. Wickliffe High School will not have a prom this year. Based on guidance from Ron Graham, the Lake County Health District Commissioner, events such as prom will not be approved. Mr. Graham’s message to me is as follows: Currently traditional Proms are restricted. Despite social distancing actions the event itself flies in the face of social distancing as dancing is rooted in close personnel spacing. I do not believe proms/school dances will be approved in the near future.
