The Kelso program teaches students that they smart enough and strong enough to handle “Small Problems" on their own. The goal of this program is to reduce tattling and give kids self-confidence to handle conflicts on their own. Kelso's Choice's include: Go to another game, Share and take turns, Talk it out, Walk away, Ignore it, Tell them to stop, Apologize, Make a deal, and Wait and cool off. The students practice these strategies through role playing activities.
