Wickliffe Middle School serves students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. There is one teaching team for each grade, and one team of teachers of the Unified Arts. In addition to the teams, WMS also has intervention specialists for students with disabilities and those designated as gifted.
WMS students are challenged to do their personal best, act in a considerate and courteous manner, and to arrive to school daily, on time and prepared to learn. In addition to the classroom activities, WMS students have the opportunity to access many different forms of technology throughout the building, during the school day.
Wickliffe Middle School teachers plan lessons to incorporate the adopted Ohio Standards for each subject area. The students are assessed informally as well as formally, and take the Ohio Achievement Assessment Tests near the end of each school year.
Wickliffe Middle School provides several scheduled opportunities for parent-teacher interaction, including Open House and parent-teacher conferences. Parents are encouraged to check their children's progress through the ProgressBook link available at several places throughout this website.
