Hello students and families,

August is National Immunization Awareness month and I thought it was a perfect time to remind our families of the importance of keeping our students immunization records up to date. Vaccines offer safe and effective protection from infectious diseases. By staying up-to-date on the recommended vaccines, individuals can protect themselves, their families and their communities. I will be sending home notices with students who have an incomplete immunization record. Please take the time to complete the data and quickly return it to the clinic. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to a healthy new school year.

Mrs. Diane Hopton, RN

Seventh graders also requires a dose of Tdap. This dose is intended to be administered as a booster dose for students who have completed the required doses of the initial series of DTap/DT/Td.
